Inspired by a biopsy process in which 4 of my specimens were completely lost for some time in the lab - on two separate occasions. They asked if I'd redo the biopsies like it was nothing to go through. Upon first displaying this installation, it scared me to learn my experience was not uncommon, but unfortunately shared by many.

I call to question where does the line need to be redrawn between care and apathy in healthcare. Because when clinical apathy is mistaken for professionalism, room for error alongside dehumanization multiples. It is a need to be able to trust those with who choose to take on the privilege of keeping a watch over the sacredness of each part of our bodies.
